Study Holidays

Every semester, we used to have study holidays before our exams, and this time it was the same for our fifth semester. During these study holidays, I spent my time in a peaceful and meaningful way. I started preparing for my syllabus, helping my mom with daily chores, and continuing my tutoring. Every morning, I set a small target for my syllabus and tried to complete it at my own pace. It felt good to sit with my books, revise my lessons, and prepare myself for the upcoming exams without any pressure. I also made sure to spend more time with my family, talking, laughing, and sharing simple everyday moments together. Those moments made my study holidays even more special. Apart from studying, I also continued tutoring my students. Teaching them made me feel productive and happy. It was a good way to stay connected with studies and also help others learn. In between my study hours and tuition classes, I helped my mom with household work. Doing small things like cooking, cleaning and fol...

My Tutoring Journey

After completing my school, I started taking tuitions from the first year of college itself. What began as a simple way to spend my time turned into something that became a big part of my life. From my first year of college itself, I continued tutoring regularly, helping school students with their studies. Over time, it became more than just teaching lessons. It became something I genuinely loved doing. Each day I looked forward to those hours of teaching because they made me feel productive, responsible, and happy. I used to teach many students, most of them coming from both matriculation and CBSE schools. Since I studied biomaths in my higher secondary. I could easily teach subjects like botany, zoology, physics and chemistry with confidence. I always enjoyed explaining science concepts because I had already learned them deeply during my school days. Along with science, I was also quite good at computers. Moreover, I was able to teach a variety of students from different backgrounds,...

The Joy of Helping My Mom

Today was a day filled with warmth and simple lessons. I decided to spend the whole day helping my mom with her daily chores. Usually, I help her with a few things, but this time I wanted to stay with her throughout the day and share all her work, from cooking to cleaning, washing, and managing everything at home. It felt nice to give her a little rest and make her day lighter. In the morning, I joined her in the kitchen. She was preparing breakfast, and I tried to help by chopping vegetables and arranging things neatly. At first, it looked so easy when she did it, but when I tried, I realized how much patience and care it takes to cook properly. Still, we laughed through my little mistakes, and she guided me step by step. I also learned some small tricks she usually does while cooking, like how she makes the food tastier with simple ingredients and how neatly she manages everything even in a hurry. After breakfast, we cleaned the house together. Dusting the furniture, sweeping the flo...

A Piece of Nature Inside a Glass Jar

Image
The terrarium I made a week ago has slowly started to grow. When I first placed a tiny plant inside a clean glass jar, I hoped it would grow well in its little home. Today, as I looked at it again, I noticed how much it has grown. The small green leaves now look fresher and stronger than before. Seeing this simple growth made me feel really happy. It felt like a small success that came from care and patience. I made this terrarium using a few things that were easily available at home. I started by adding some small stones at the bottom so that the water can drain properly. Then, I put a layer of charcoal, which helps to keep the soil fresh and prevent any bad smell. On top of it, I added soil, soft and rich, ready to hold the roots firmly, and for decoration, I placed a few little pebbles around it. Finally, I planted a single small plant at the center, simple, green, and full of life. After setting it up, I sprinkled a little water and gently pressed the soil around it. Th...

The Joy of Writing Every Day

Image
Writing has slowly become one of my favorite parts of the day. Each time I sit down to write a blog, I feel like I am opening a small window to my own thoughts. Another thing I love about blogging daily is how it captures memories. Some moments fade quickly from our minds, but when I write them down, they stay alive forever. Reading back my old blogs sometimes makes me smile. It feels like revisiting a diary of emotions.  I have received appreciation from my friends, family, professors and relatives who often read my blogs. They tell me that they enjoy reading what I write and find my words very relatable and heartfelt. Hearing that always makes me feel happy and grateful. It also encourages me to continue writing. My blogs usually reflect my day-to-day experiences, small learnings, and little joys that make life beautiful. Writing daily also keeps my creativity flowing. Some days, words come easily, and other days, they take time. But every time I finish a blog, It giv...

A Day Full of Colors and Laughter with the Magic of Water Beads

Image
Yesterday evening turned out to be one of the most colorful and fun-filled moments at home. My little cousin came over to spend the day with us. He is a cheerful and curious boy who always finds something interesting to do whenever he visits. This time, he came with a packet of tiny water beads that looked just like small colorful seeds. Then, We filled a transparent bowl with clean water and poured the tiny beads into it. At first, they looked so small and dry. My cousin was so excited that he kept checking the bowl every few minutes. Slowly, the beads started to absorb the water and began to grow. It was really amazing to watch them change right in front of our eyes. After few hours, the tiny beads had turned into shiny, round, jelly-like balls of different colors such as red, blue, green, orange, yellow, and purple. The bowl looked like it was filled with rainbow pearls. The colors were bright and the beads looked so smooth and glossy. My cousin was thrilled. He dipped h...

The Joy of Cooking Noodles

Image
This morning, I felt like cooking something simple and tasty instead of a big meal. I wanted something quick that could make me feel warm and satisfied. So, I decided to make noodles with eggs. I added the noodles to the boiling water and added masala to it. the smell of the masala started to spread all over the kitchen. I cracked two eggs into it and watched them slowly cook. The yolks looked bright, and the bubbling soup made everything look so delicious. While the noodles were cooking, I felt a sense of peace. Cooking might seem like a small thing, but it often gives comfort when we need it the most. The warmth from the stove, the sound of boiling water, and the sight of the food slowly coming together made me feel calm and happy. When the noodles were ready, I tasted them. The flavor was perfect. The eggs added a soft texture that made the meal even better. I enjoyed every bite, feeling grateful for such a simple meal that brought so much joy. Sometimes, it is not about...
