A Piece of Nature Inside a Glass Jar
The terrarium I made a week ago has slowly started to grow. When I first placed a tiny plant inside a clean glass jar, I hoped it would grow well in its little home. Today, as I looked at it again, I noticed how much it has grown. The small green leaves now look fresher and stronger than before. Seeing this simple growth made me feel really happy. It felt like a small success that came from care and patience.
I made this terrarium using a few things that were easily available at home. I started by adding some small stones at the bottom so that the water can drain properly. Then, I put a layer of charcoal, which helps to keep the soil fresh and prevent any bad smell. On top of it, I added soil, soft and rich, ready to hold the roots firmly, and for decoration, I placed a few little pebbles around it. Finally, I planted a single small plant at the center, simple, green, and full of life.
After setting it up, I sprinkled a little water and gently pressed the soil around it. The jar slowly started to look beautiful, like a tiny world of its own. The soft brown soil, dark charcoal, smooth stones, and the bright green plant together made a lovely sight. It amazed me how a few natural things could come together to create something so calming.
As the days passed, I kept it near the window where it could get a little sunlight. Each morning, I checked on it. Slowly, I began to notice small changes. The plant had grown a little, and it made me so happy to see its tiny leaves. It’s wonderful how something so small can still show signs of life and growth.
Making this terrarium was not just about creating something pretty; it was about learning patience and care. Every time I look at it, I feel a quiet satisfaction. It reminds me that growth doesn’t always need a big garden or a wide space. Even in a closed glass jar, life finds its way to bloom beautifully.
What I love most is how peaceful it looks, like a piece of nature captured inside glass jar. It adds a gentle charm to the room, and whenever I see it, I feel calm.
