A Golden Day


Today was such a colorful and happy day. I went out shopping with my parents, and we visited a jewellery shop that is very famous in our place. The shop was filled with shining collections. The showcases were full of elegant gold necklaces, sparkling earrings, and dazzling bangles arranged beautifully in rows. Every corner of the shop glowed with golden light, and the shelves of colourful bangles caught my eyes. From shimmering silver shades to bright gold ones, every bangle looked stunning and decorative.

In that shop, my parents bought me a beautiful gold ring and a pair of gold bangles. I was so happy when my mom gently put the ring on my finger and the bangles on my wrist. They sparkled beautifully under the lights, and I couldn’t stop admiring them. It felt truly special because these were not just ornaments but gifts filled with love and care from my parents. I felt so grateful and touched at that moment.

That moment made me realize how much my parents do for me without expecting anything in return. They always try to make me happy, and I felt truly blessed to have such loving parents. In the future, I will surely fulfill my dreams and make them proud. I will definitely buy them beautiful gifts, take them to the places they love, and give back all the love and care they have showered on me.

A World Inside a Flask

One fine day in my General Elective Botany class, I held something in my hand that changed the way I look at plants. It was not a pot, not a seed, not even soil. It was a simple glass flask covered with foil, and inside it, tiny green plants were growing. The flask looked ordinary, but what it carried was extraordinary.  This method, as my professor explained, is called plant tissue culture. From just a small piece of a plant, new plants can grow in a sterile glass container filled with nutrients. Holding it in my hands felt like holding a secret garden. Before this class, I always believed plants could grow only in soil. But the tissue culture flask taught me something different: plants can grow even without soil, as long as they are given the right environment. Exploring My College Library

I visit the library almost every day after the classes, but for my CA2 assignment, I decided to make a vlog about it. After my classes, I spent around two to three hours taking this vlog, capturing the different sections of our library and the way students use them. Through this, I wanted to show how important the library is in our daily college life. The first thing that greets us is the register at the entrance. Every student must write their name, department, and entry and exit times, finishing with a signature. It’s a simple rule, but it creates discipline and reminds us that the library is a shared space for learning. On the ground floor, there are two reading halls. Reading Hall One is where students quietly read, and along its walls, several boards display daily newspapers like The Hindu, Times of India, and Dina Thanthi.
